Demonstration / Talk / Lecture
Meet the woman behind the world’s first pink narcissus as we celebrate this iconic spring flower at our free lunchtime show and tell.
Discover the story of one of horticulture's pioneering women: Sarah Backhouse. Plus, find out how you can get involved with the RHS Daffodil Diaries, as we aim to map the UK’s daffodils and locate three rare varieties.
Our informal show and tells offer a 15 minute introduction to the treasures of our Library collection to liven up your lunch break. No need to book, just drop in. RHS membership not required.
The show and tell begins at 1.15pm. Come early to browse our collection of modern titles and changing book displays.
Ticket Information: Register your interest on EventBrite to receive an event reminder before the talk. Please note: When purchasing tickets, you are leaving the RHS website. Tickets are made available through Eventbrite on behalf of the RHS. Both the RHS and Eventbrite terms and conditions and privacy policy will apply.
