Join us for a very special workshop, as we celebrate the opening of the RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show.
We are excited to welcome RHS Silver Gilt medal-winning artist Rui Jiang for a workshop introducing a fundamental part of botanical art practice: sketching.
Taking inspiration from Rui's own sketchbooks, Rui will guide you in the essential techniques to produce your own botanical illustration. We will be drawing from live plants, using a selection of materials including graphite, red chalk and silverpoint, on an array of papers.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, and all materials will be provided. RHS membership not required. Spaces on this workshop are limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance of the event.
The RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show is on display at the Saatchi Gallery, Friday 19 June - Sunday 2 August 2026.
