Discover how to get the best blooms from your hydrangeas and keep them in shape. During this two-hour practical talk and demonstration, you will learn how to prune different types of hydrangea and gain a multitude of tips for growing the very finest flowers.

Participants will get the chance to get ‘hands on’ with RHS Garden Wisley hydrangeas so please bring gardening gloves and secateurs with you if you have them. We will have tools available to borrow if needed. 

The session takes place entirely outdoors so please come prepared for the weather with suitable clothing and footwear. 

Location: Outside in the Garden

Tutor: Louise Grimwood – RHS Horticultural Educator

Arrival: The meeting point is inside the Garden after the Main Entrance.  

To Bring with You:  

  • Gardening gloves and secateurs, if you have them. 
  • Booking reference for entrance into the Garden
  • Suitable clothing for the weather
