RHS Fruit Specialist, Jim Arbury, will teach you the art of whip and tongue grafting with each stage demonstrated before you try the technique yourself. This method can be used to produce fruit trees and many ornamental plants.

Jim Arbury has a vast knowledge and experience of fruit growing, including grafting and budding fruit trees for the RHS fruit collections and identifying varieties for the RHS Fruit Identification Service.

During the session, you will graft two apple varieties onto dwarfing rootstocks to take home and grow in your own garden and learn about the after-care and maintenance required so that you feel confident with your new trees.
