Morning Session: 
  • Herbology and the History of Medicinal Herbs: Learn how herbology has evolved from ancient traditions to modern science, and its cultural significance through time. 
  • Exploring Old Herbals: Dive into classic texts by herbalists like Culpeper and Fuchs and uncover timeless plant wisdom. 
  • Explore the Hidden Herbs at RHS Wisley Garden: Enjoy a guided garden walk to spot intriguing plants like Datura, elder, and the oldest known herb used by humans. 
 
Afternoon Session: 
  • Practical Demonstration: Put your newfound knowledge into practice with a hands-on demonstration. We’ll explore the key ingredients and methods involved, and experience the satisfaction of creating your own natural remedies to take home. 

What to Bring: 
  • A notebook and pen for taking notes 
  • A camera for pictures 
  • Any herbal books or resources you'd like to share or discuss 
  • An open mind and a willingness to explore the wonders of nature!
