Join RHS Garden Wisley’s Fruit Team for a demonstration and explanation of how to prune various tree forms in winter for maximum fruit production, aesthetics and space constraints. Winter is the time of year when many types of tree fruit including apples and pears receive their main prune of the year. Winter pruning of apples and pears will cover formative pruning and pruning of established and neglected apple and pear trees.

This course will take place entirely outdoors so please come suitably dressed for the weather.

Includes tea and coffee on arrival. Ticket price includes garden entry.

Tutor: Jim Arbury (RHS Fruit Specialist)
