Come along and make a traditional Christmas wreath here at Hyde Hall and be lucky enough to include glorious seasonal foliage from the garden in your work! Learn how to moss a wreath wire frame and construct a balanced wreath shape under expert guidance. Personalise your design using accessories such as dried fruits, baubles, cinnamon sticks, pinecones and beautiful ribbons - to name but a few. Enjoy this traditional Christmas craft and take home your finished wreath to bring festive cheer to your front door.

Tutor: Sue Rogers has been running our wreath workshops for many years so you are sure to go home with something you’ll love!

Arrival Information:
  • Please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop to allow time to register your arrival and make your way to the classroom.
  • This workshop will take place in the Clore Learning Centre, which is located at the top of the hill, adjacent to the Gardeners Rest Restaurant. There is a mobility vehicle available to transport participants to the top of the hill if necessary.

For this workshop:
  • All tools and materials will be supplied.
  • There will be tea/coffee available throughout. Additionally, all the taps in the learning centre provide drinking water, so we suggest the use of a reusable water bottle throughout the day.
  • You are welcome to stay in the gardens afterwards should you wish to have a wander round.
