Are you new to gardening and not sure where to start, or what to do when? This session is aimed at new gardeners and those wishing to increase their knowledge of seasonal gardening activities. It's a seasonal whistle-stop tour of techniques, tips, tricks and advice about what tasks to do in spring. You will be shown a number of practical demonstrations during this guided garden walk.
 
Spring topics include – planting and dividing perennials, basic shrub pruning, cutting back and tidying your plants after the winter, plus other topics of seasonal interest.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera or mobile phone for photos if you wish
Please wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather on the day.

From February 2025, it is no longer a requirement for non-RHS Members to pay Garden entry when attending a course or workshop within the Garden.
