Explore some of RHS Rosemoor’s shady areas with Penny King, part of Lady Anne’s Garden team at RHS Rosemoor, including the Stumpery and Fernery. Find out about the unique set of growing opportunities that shade provides, and see shady plants come into their own. You will discover some of the beautiful and more unusual species that you could choose for your own garden, and find out which plants perform well in the shaded areas around RHS Rosemoor.
Among other plants, you will learn about ferns with their fascinating fronds, and unfurl the secrets of growing ferns successfully in your own garden. Other shade lovers will be introduced, including those for both dry and wet shade, and varying degrees of shade.
