Enjoy a fun and festive wreath making workshop that is creative, rewarding and seasonally sociable.

Florist Sarah Pepper will guide you through the techniques to make a traditional festive wreath on a bound straw base. There will be plenty of freshly gathered glorious seasonal foliage, berries and cones from RHS Rosemoor, and dried orange slices and gorgeous ribbon to further personalise and add festive colour to your design. As a final flourish, a string of tiny fairy lights will be provided to light up your wreath, creating a traditional decoration that will bring cheer to everyone you greet at your door this festive season.

Tutor: Sarah Pepper is a well-known and popular floral designer based in a studio in East Devon, teaching workshops and designing creative artworks and installations. She has been teaching workshops for more than 20 years and never runs out of new ideas using fresh and seasonal materials.

Location and arrival information: The workshop will take place in the Peter Buckley Learning Centre. Please allow 15 minutes to park in the main visitor car park, enter the garden and get to the Learning Centre.

Catering: Tea / coffee and biscuits will be available in the classroom.

For this workshop you will need:
  • Your booking reference number to show to the team at the Garden Entrance.
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes.
