Botanical Whiff: Sarcococca confusa- the sweet box mystery!

Ever wondered what that sweet fragrance is in the depths of winter? You look around, but no flowers are to be seen? Why is this member of the box family,  Sarcococca confusa, also known as Christmas box, not listed in the Flora of China, when south central China is its supposed place of origin?  Find out more about this shy, but fragrantly flamboyant plant in this combined library and botany talk.
