Topics covered will include: getting the best out of your garden soil, plant selection for borders, garden maintenance, the use of fertilisers, garden composting and how to deter pests and diseases. The day will include both a taught session and practical demonstrations. By the end of this workshop you will have a solid grounding in gardening basics and be equipped with the fundamental techniques to start your gardening journey.
