If you are new to gardening and want help getting started, then join Christine Lavelle in this one-day workshop, where she’ll be looking at the basics needed to get you started and make a success of your garden. Topics covered will include: getting the best out of your garden soil, plant selection for borders, garden maintenance, the use of fertilisers, garden composting and how to deter pests and diseases. The day will include both a taught session and practical demonstrations. By the end of this workshop, you will have a solid grounding in gardening basics and be equipped with the fundamental techniques to start your gardening journey.
