Whether you’re new to gardening or a keen gardener wanting to learn more, come along and learn about the jobs you should be doing in your garden at this time of year. 
 

This workshop will include handy tips, techniques, and advice on seasonal tasks such as pruning, propagating, mulching and lawn care. Led by Tutor Anne Gunning, Horticultural Educator.
 

As part of the RHS Garden Bridgewater workshop, you will be invited to take part in a short walk and talk around easily accessible areas of the site at the end of the session. This walk (or wheel) and talk will review what can be seen in the garden now, and what jobs are being undertaken to ensure a fantastic display later in the year.

  • Tutor: Anne Gunning is a highly experienced tutor with over 25 years of teaching RHS Level 2 and 3 qualifications. With a background in running a successful garden design business, Anne combines professional expertise with a passion for sharing knowledge. She also spent 7 years as an RHS Community Outreach Advisor, working closely with diverse groups to make horticulture accessible and inspiring.
  • Location and Arrival Information: The workshop will be held in the Learning Studio situated within the Welcome Building, with a short walk/wheel in the gardens at the end of the session.
  • Catering: Tea & coffee will be provided 
  • For this workshop, you will need: Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the day’s weather conditions.
  • Skill Level: General - Suitable for adults of all gardening abilities
