During this workshop, RHS Garden Bridgewater horticulturist, Lisa Hudson, will provide you with a how-to guide to getting started with seed sowing.
 

You will be guided through different types of seeds and how to get the best results. You will also look at what to do once your seeds germinate and how to care for your baby plants.
 

Expect to leave with a range of seeds sown ready for late Spring and Summer blooms and harvest - don't forget to bring a bag or box for all of your pots!
 

This workshop will take place in the Propagation Glasshouse, therefore please be aware that you will be expected to stand for the duration of the workshop.
  

  • Tutor: Lisa Hudson, RHS Garden Bridgewater Horticulturalist 
  • Location and Arrival Information: Please arrive at the Welcome Building for a short safety briefing. The workshop will then be held in the Propagation Greenhouse, situated a short walk from the Welcome Building.
  • Catering: No catering is provided for this workshop. Please bring along a water bottle.
  • For this workshop, you will need: Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the day’s weather conditions and bring along a pair of gloves and a large bag or box to take home your pots.
  • Skill Level: General -  For adult guests who want to enjoy, discover or learn from this workshop, whatever their existing skill level
