Whether you are new to gardening or a keen gardener wanting to learn more, this workshop will guide you through all the jobs you should be doing in your garden at this time of year.
Your tutor Anne Gunning will provide you with handy tips, techniques, and advice on seasonal tasks in both the ornamental and the vegetable garden, such as how to keep your garden flowering for longer, dividing perennials, taking cuttings, planting and transplanting trees and shrubs, bulb planting, protecting tender plants over winter and lawn care.
Tutor: Anne Gunning is a highly experienced tutor with over 25 years of teaching RHS Level 2 and 3 qualifications. With a background in running a successful garden design business, Anne combines professional expertise with a passion for sharing knowledge. She also spent 7 years as an RHS Community Outreach Advisor, working closely with diverse groups to make horticulture accessible and inspiring.
Location and Arrival Information: The workshop will be held in the Learning Studio situated within the Welcome Building. As part of the workshop, you will be invited to take part in a short walk/wheel and talk around easily accessible areas of the site at the end of the session.
