Immerse yourself in the beauty of the garden in all its autumn glory at our vibrant Autumn Weekend event.

From a kaleidoscope of autumn colours around the garden to the vibrant colours of the fruit and vegetable competition and a wonderful apple display, as well as talks and fungus forays, there is a lot to see this weekend.

We have plenty of expert advice on hand for those who want it, or for those who just want to immerse themselves in the garden at this magical time of year. 

No booking required, included in garden entry.

RHS Late Fruit and Vegetable Competition
Don’t miss the prestigious RHS Late Fruit and Vegetable Competition, featuring over 60 classes of champion produce.  Entry to the competition is open to all. More information can be found on the RHS Website: RHS Horticultural Competitions, or email [email protected].

Northern Fruit Group Apple Display
Come take a look at our amazing apple display and have your homegrown apples identified. If you’re not sure what they are, you can also receive expert advice and bring your apples for identification. 

Mid Yorkshire Fungus Group 
Join the Mid Yorkshire Fungus Group for some specialist talks, Q&A and expert fungus forays open to all. Pre-booking is required as numbers are limited for the best experience.
