Learn the beautiful and traditional craft of Modern Calligraphy in this dip-pen session. Learn everything from mark making to letter formation and numbers while building your own unique hand lettering style. Continue practising at home with a calligraphy starter kit, which will be yours to take away, including a pen holder, nib, ink and worksheet.

Led by Helen Wallace of 'Wallace Lettering' this workshop is suitable for begginers or those looking to improve their craft skills. It is also accessible to left and right handed writers. 

Arrival Information: 
  • Please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop to allow time to register your arrival and make your way to the classroom. 
  • This workshop will take place in the Clore Learning Centre, which is located at the top of the hill, adjacent to the Gardeners Rest Restaurant. 
For this workshop:
  • All materials and tools are supplied.
  • There will be tea/coffee available throughout.
  • You are welcome to stay in the gardens afterwards should you wish to stop for lunch and a wander round.
