Join Anne Gunning at RHS Garden Bridgewater to learn the fundamentals of home composting, including getting the balance of materials right, methods of composting that will work for you, and issues that you may encounter as you compost. By using compost created correctly at home, you will save money, reduce waste, and boost the health of your soil. In this workshop, Anne will show you how to create different types of compost – whether it be for seed sowing, containers, or for use in the garden. Anne will also take you through the best places to use compost within your garden.
Tutor: Anne Gunning is a highly experienced tutor with over 25 years of teaching RHS Level 2 and 3 qualifications. With a background in running a successful garden design business, Anne combines professional expertise with a passion for sharing knowledge. She also spent 7 years as an RHS Community Outreach Advisor, working closely with diverse groups to make horticulture accessible and inspiring.
