Unlock the power of composting. Make a positive impact on the environment and turn your kitchen waste into nutrient-rich nourishment for your plants.
 
Join Anne Gunning at RHS Garden Bridgewater to learn the fundamentals of home composting, including getting the balance of materials right, methods of composting that will work for you, and issues that you may encounter as you compost. By using compost created correctly at home you will save money, reduce waste, and boost the health of your soil. In this workshop, Anne will show you how to create different types of compost – whether it be for seed sowing, containers, or for use on the garden. Anne will also take you through the best places to use compost within your garden.
 
This course will be held in the Learning Studios at RHS Garden Bridgewater. All materials will be provided, including gloves with which to handle the soil.
 
Ticket price includes garden entry. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the session.
