Join clinical aromatherapist Tanya Moulding on this immersive and practical one-day workshop and learn the art of blending butters, waxes, plant oils and fragrant essential oils to craft your very own cosmetic and therapeutic products. Balms and butters are amazingly versatile and you will explore the benefits of creating bespoke products free from additives, preservatives or synthetic chemicals in order to support and enhance the function of the skin.

Throughout the day, you will gain insight into the world of natural ingredients, including essential oils, carrier oils, luxurious butters such as Shea and Cocoa butter, and waxes such as Beeswax and Jojoba. Understand the principles of how to combine these elements, unlocking endless possibilities for creation at home.

During this workshop:
  • Learn how to select high-quality, sustainable, and ethically sourced materials for your creations and combine then to make your own unique therapeutic skincare blends.
  • Explore the diverse cosmetic and therapeutic uses and applications of balms and butters.
  • Gain insight into blending ingredients tailored to address specific skincare needs, such as cleansing, scar treatment, nourishing damaged skin etc.
  • Receive hands-on guidance to make three products during the workshop and leave with the confidence to create and adapt your recipes at home.
Fee is inclusive of all ingredients, materials, tuition and comprehensive notes.

Please Note: This class uses a heat source (hot plate) and therefore products will be made in batches to ensure safety. Some of the recipes also require a 24-hour cooling time to fully set.
