Bathe in the Spring blooms of RHS Garden Bridgewater’s woodland, allowing time to stop, reflect and join a restorative ‘Shinrin Yoku’ practice, the Japanese art of Forest Bathing Led by your Tutor Laura Johnson.

During this workshop you will learn the history and philosophy of Forest Bathing, the approach, health benefits and what to expect from the practice. You will then experience a series of mindful, sensory activities in the woodland, the activities are designed to help you quieten your mind, fully engage with nature and transition into a calm, peacefully present state.

Spring is a wonderful time to practice Shinrin Yoku. You will explore this seasons beauty and meaning as the session unfolds

The Forest bathing experience is an opportunity to escape the noise of our everyday lives, feel grounded and reconnect with our true selves. It allows a sense of wonder and curiosity, the freedom to be present, to let go and to feel alive. You will leave lighter, lifted and calmer, and armed with the knowledge and skills to take this wellbeing practice into your everyday.
