Under 5s workshop
Join the Education Team for a Welly Walk adventure at RHS Garden Rosemoor. These workshops are specifically for preschool-age children aged 5 years and under to enjoy spending time in the garden. Each month has a different theme and includes a garden walk, craft or planting activity and a story. Welly Walks normally take place on the second Monday of the month, and the same session is repeated on the third Monday. January Theme: Sculpture Have a closer look at some of the sculptures in the garden, then try making your own mini sculpture from clay. To finish the morning, we will enjoy a children’s juice drink and a story together. Activities will go ahead in all weather, so please dress accordingly. Welly Walk tickets are £3 per child, which includes a children’s drink and all materials. Children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, and accompanying adults are responsible for their children at all times. Please note: Normal garden admission charges will still apply to enter the garden. Welly Walks require a minimum number of children to run. If we have not reached this minimum by midday on the Friday prior to the Welly Walk, we reserve the right to cancel the session.
