Join mixed media artist Emmeline Webb for a colourful and creative day, exploring and experimenting with new techniques in this mixed media workshop, where you’ll combine materials such as paint, collage and fabrics to create a textured work of art.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a beginner, this hands on, friendly and artistically playful workshop will spark your creativity and offer up fresh inspiration. All drawn from nature and the natural world, we will be looking closely at plant forms, tree structures and beautiful botanical blooms.

The day will include watercolour and acrylic painting using mixed media techniques and drawing from observation to create a collaged arrangement of flowers and foliage in a vase. Towards the end of the day, you will frame your finished work, ready to take home, hang and feel proud of.

  • Tutor: Emmeline Webb returned to art education as a mature student, gaining a BA (hons) in Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2008. Since then, she has been encouraging others to find their artistic voice, and benefit from the restorative effects of making art, and has 15 years of experience teaching art workshops to teen and adults. Emmeline's workshops are suited to all abilities, with an emphasis on relaxion, exploration of art materials and ultimately fun
