During this workshop, you will be guided on how to garden sustainably and take steps for wildlife in your garden.
 

James, an RHS Garden Bridgewater Team Leader with a passion for wildlife, will lead an informative walking tour around RHS Garden Bridgewater, highlighting wildlife-friendly features, and will share the management strategies for the gardens that support wildlife and ensure sustainable gardening practices.
 

James will share the habitats that have been inherited and created at RHS Garden Bridgewater, and how they are maintained and improved to support a range of species. You’ll take a look at some of the basic needs that wildlife require to survive and thrive. James will show you how wildlife is supported at RHS Garden Bridgewater and how you can recreate this in your own garden.
 

  • Tutor: James Hall, RHS Garden Bridgewater Woodland Team Leader, is passionate about wildlife and sustainable gardening.
  • For this workshop, you will need: to be able to stand and/or walk for 90 minutes.
  • Location and Arrival Information: The workshop will take place outdoors. Meet at Visitor Services within the Welcome Building 10 minutes prior to the walk.
  • Refreshments: are not provided at this workshop. You are welcome to bring a water bottle, or you can purchase refreshments from our shop or cafe prior to the walk.
  • Skill Level: Beginner - I am keen to learn and to develop my experience and confidence
