Bridget has been a botanical illustrator for over 30 years and has 4 RHS Gold Medals and has selected work in international collections at the RHS and Hunt Institute, with published contributions to The Northern Pomona and RHS Gold Medal Winners. She has been teaching and demonstrating drawing, composition, and watercolour techniques since 2001.

This one day course will introduce you to botanical illustration of plants from live specimens and the selection and application of suitable pigments for representing in watercolour. Step by step instructions will guide you through the process of accurate observing, drawing and painting through group and one-to-one tuition. All plants and equipment are provided and this event is suitable for any who would like to begin studying plant portraits.’
