Composting is so important to the gardener and garden. Making your own compost is both sustainable and very rewarding. In this workshop you will look at what you can and cannot compost along with the various systems used in composting.  This will include looking at how composting is made and used at Harlow Carr Garden. We will look at how the different garden teams make their own compost at Harlow Carr and will discuss the various merits of the compost that can be purchased in the retail sector.
