Following on from the Introduction to Propagation course this course will cover a wider range of propagation skills that will also include propagation of alpines and aquatic plants. We will also include more seasonal seed sowing, this will include seed collection, cleaning and storing. There will be an opportunity to sow some wildflower turf mats. We will also cover ground and air layering with a deeper look at apical air layering of rhododendrons. Leaf bud cuttings of camelia and mahonia mallet cuttings. The course will also include visits to the garden.
