The course will cover how to plan a kitchen garden, looking at scale drawings, propagation sheets and selecting vegetable varieties. The course will also be outside showing how to do primary and secondary cultivation along with no-dig methods. Seed sowing and planting will also be carried out and how to care for a kitchen garden throughout the year. Fruit will also be covered looking at different training forms and pruning techniques.  Growing Herbs for the kitchen will also be discussed.
