Explore the world of botanical wellbeing in this workshop dedicated to the power of plants, with the RHS Lindley Library and Hackney Herbal!

Uncover the plants professed to hold healing properties with a tour of the Library's collection of historic herbals dating from the 15 and 16 centuries, guided by our rare books librarian.

Then, discover a number of herbs that can support our bodies over the colder months under the guidance of Nat from Hackney Herbal.

Take inspiration from a selection of festive flavours, as we use an assortment of organic botanicals, spices and berries to blend our own festive drinks.

Create a herbal tea and a festive herbal chai blend (caffeine-free), which could be used for mulling wine or apple juice for an alcohol-free alternative.

RHS membership not required. Spaces on this workshop are limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance of the event.

Event Details

Doors open at 6pm, with the workshop beginning at 6.30pm.

Tickets for this event are limited and must be purchased in advance. The ticket cost supports the RHS Lindley Library. Some tickets will be available on the door. RHS membership not required.

To keep the event as accessible as possible you can choose a full price ticket (£12) or a reduced price ticket (£6).
