Join archaeologist Dr Sadie Watson as we uncover the evidence of Roman gardens in Britain, their plants, designs and their influence today.

Discover how archaeology and archaeobotany can help us understand the flora and design of gardens in Roman Britain, in this talk with Dr Sadie Watson.

We will explore the environmental landscape of Britannia and find out what plants grew in a Roman garden and their historic, cultural or medicinal significance.

Uncover some specific sites of interest around British and the influence of this period on our parks and gardens today.

There will be an opportunity to submit questions to Sadie during the talk. Please note this event will be recorded and available to ticket holders for 30 days following the event.
