Curtis’s Botanical Magazine was first published in 1787 to help gardeners identify and grow non-native plants in their gardens. Containing stunning hand coloured illustrations‚ always drawn from the living plant, it is a treasure trove for art lovers and plant enthusiasts alike.

Join us as we tell the story and enjoy the artwork of this fascinating publication. Original early volumes from the series will be on display.
