Add flavour, fragrance and fun to your garden or windowsill. Learn how to grow and care for your own herbs in this hands-on beginner workshop.
You will be introduced to a range of easy-to-grow herbs for the garden, pots and containers, or your kitchen windowsill. Susie will share her horticultural knowledge and experience, guiding you through the processes of both growing herbs from seed and by taking simple cuttings. You will learn about the aftercare needed to keep your plants healthy, and consider ideas for using herbs in everyday life, including for cooking, decoration and as a sensory plant.
There will also be a practical element to this workshops. You will have the opportunity to do some hands-on seed sowing and propagation, to equip you with the skills and confidence to start growing your own herbs from seed. You will take home your planted seeds and cuttings.
