Ready to take your vegetable growing further? Explore new crops, propagation techniques, and tips for a thriving garden in this upskiller session.
This session is about confidence building and extending skills in vegetable growing. You will explore a wider range of crops and different growing methods, considering opportunities for different crops, relevant techniques, and growing conditions.
Susie will share her horticultural knowledge and experience, guiding you through plant propagation techniques such as seed sowing, pricking out, and transplanting, addressing some of the common vegetable growing challenges with practical and sustainable ways to manager them (watering, feeding, diseases) and generally how to keep your vegetable plot healthy and productive.
There will also be a practical element to this workshops. You will have the opportunity to do some hands-on propagation, to equip you with the skills and confidence to start growing your own herbs from seed. You will take home your planted seeds.
