Spend a fun and creative afternoon cutting, sticking and layering different textile materials to make a selection of mixed media, nature-inspired mini greetings cards.
Emmeline Webb, mixed-media artist, will demonstrate how to recreate a landscape scene or a simple floral design by arranging and building up the materials. A selection of Emmeline's hand-painted papers will be available for use, as will fabrics and other collage materials. You will be able to make up to six cards with your own unique designs.
Tutor: Emmeline Webb returned to art education as a mature student, gaining a BA (hons) in Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2008. Since then, she has been encouraging others to find their artistic voice and benefit from the restorative effects of making art, and she has 15 years of experience teaching art workshops to teens and adults. Emmeline's workshops are suited to all abilities, with an emphasis on relaxation, exploration of art materials and ultimately fun.
