The Winter Garden at Hyde Hall is a showcase for seedheads. Whilst ladybirds hibernate, robins are grateful for the bounty of food left for them. From statement architectural plants, selected for their form and structure, to dainty details learn how plants are carefully selected to perform all winter long, with seedheads providing visual interest, a vital food sources and habitats until the arrival of spring.

Join Horticulturalist Amy Gill in the Winter Garden, to learn how plants with interesting, unusual or perhaps unrecognisable seedheads form a key part of the design in this space. If you're guilty of an early cut back, find out which seedheads we love and rely on and you won't be reaching for shears until March! Learn how you can incorporate seedheads in your garden as well as other creative things you can do with them.

Tutor: RHS Amy Gill
