The RHS Schools Team invites primary and secondary school teachers to join us at Harlow Carr Garden for an Educator Open Evening.

Discover how the RHS can help your pupils connect with nature, learn in and from the outdoors, and get gardening.

Get expert advice about your school garden and enjoy a tour of Harlow Carr.

Timetable of events:

Arrive from 3.50pm

  • Arrival with refreshments

4–6pm

  • Short talks – RHS Campaign for School Gardening, Garden visits, National Education Nature Park and New Shoots (Work Experience and Careers)
  • Educators Marketplace – chat with RHS representatives plus exhibitors from other charities and organisations, all working with schools to put nature at the heart of education
  • Guided tours of RHS Garden Harlow Carr to see how we use our Garden to lead inspirational learning experiences and maybe pick up ideas for your own outdoor spaces
  • Take the opportunity to explore the Garden and plan your school visit.
