For gardening pleasure, cut flower, or exhibition, the Chrysanthemum offers many options.

On behalf of The North West Counties Chrysanthemum Society, Jim Vickerman, multiple times National Champion, taks us through some of those options, the history, the beauty of the flower, his growing calendar and how we can best get started.

Early March is a good time to be taking cuttings, so Jim plans to bring along some stock plants and demonstrate how easy it is to take and root Chrysanthemum cuttings.
