Workshop
Join Victoria from Victoria Rose Florals to explore the basics of growing your own beautiful blooms for cutting and arranging. Beginning with a brief overview of the best plants to choose for a bountiful cutting garden, you will sow seeds and take cuttings to then grow at home. The second part of the session will focus on creating a stunning vase arrangement using locally grown flowers and foliage to enjoy at home. Tips and tricks will be shared throughout the workshop, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and feel confident using them. Tutor: Victoria Pettyt – Victoria Rose Florals Victoria is a Manchester-based florist who uses exclusively British-grown, seasonal and sustainably sourced materials. She is passionate about spreading a love and respect for nature through hands-on workshops.
For this workshop, you will need: all materials provided. You are advised to wear appropriate clothing for a hands-on creative workshop involving sowing seeds, taking cuttings and working with flowers & foliage. You may bring an apron and/or gloves if you wish to use them.
Location and Arrival Information: The workshop will take place in the Learning Studios, situated within the Welcome Building
Catering: Tea, coffee and water will be provided
