'Blue Dwarf' is a deciduous, dwarf shrub attaining an ultimate height and spread of around 1.5m. Short leaves, held on red shoots, emerge a soft green in spring becoming blue-green in summer before turning golden-yellow in autumn
L. kaempferi is a vigorous deciduous conifer forming a large tree reaching up to 30m with reddish young shoots bearing whorls of light green leaves becoming yellow and orange in autumn. Cones ovoid, erect, to 3cm long, with out-curved scales
L. decidua is a deciduous conifer making a large conical tree, broadening with age, with cream young shoots bearing soft, light green needle-like leaves in whorls, turning yellow in autumn. Flowers small, cones to 4cm, erect
L. gmelinii is a deciduous, coniferous tree that can reach 35m, with a broadly conical shape and horizontal branches. Bright green, needle-like leaves are carried in bunches, and turn yellow in autumn. Male flowers are yellow, females start purple then ripen into erect, brown cones about 3cm long
'Nana' is a dense, rounded, dwarf cultivar reaching a maximum height of 1m. Leaves emerge light green in spring, mature to blue-green in summer and turn a golden-yellow in autumn before falling to reveal red-brown bark covered with short spurs
