The 2026 exhibition of exceptional botanical art and photography, features an incredible diversity of subjects from vibrant wildflowers that emerge after wildfires in northwest England, to colourful Japanese mushrooms – the endangered endemic South African limestone fynbos, to the knotty roots of garden-grown varieties.
Portfolio photography features a diverse range of plants, gardens and natural habitats with subjects ranging from succulents to sunflowers, presented in intricate and innovative photographic detail.
All entries are reviewed by an expert judging panel during the pre-selection process ahead of the show opening in June, with works assessed on aesthetic appeal, scientific accuracy and technical skill. The People’s Choice Award is decided by a public vote.
