Many families and friends give in memory of a loved one to celebrate their life, their passion for gardening or their love of a favourite RHS Garden. These gifts support the RHS in continuing to inspire visitors to the gardens. Donations can be directed to a specific RHS Garden, where they will be used to plant and maintain the garden’s collections.

Alternatively, contributions to the RHS Remembrance Fund help maintain all the gardens for the future. In-memory gifts of over £100 can be acknowledged in the Books of Remembrance held at each RHS Garden. As a charity, the RHS relies on donations to support the gardens and wider charitable work.

A place to remember

At RHS Gardens, it is sometimes possible to accommodate requests to fund in-memory benches. Availability is limited, and benches can only be offered when included in the existing garden plans. For bench enquiries, please contact:

RHS Garden Mobility Fund

Giving everyone should have the chance to experience the beauty and inspiration of the RHS Gardens:

Opening up the gardens to everyone

The ability to move around and enjoy the RHS Gardens is important. Where possible, mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs are provided at each garden, free of charge. A gift to the RHS Mobility Fund helps to buy and maintain these scooters and wheelchairs, enabling more visitors to enjoy the gardens at their own pace.
