Revitalising the Streamside

The Streamside and its planting are a defining character of RHS Harlow Carr. This area of the garden is currently undergoing a transformation, including the recently completed design and rebuild of the main bridge in the heart of the garden.

Your support will help enhance its beauty and preserve it as a vibrant space for exploration and enjoyment, ensuring it remains a cherished space for generations to come.

Future plans and upgrades

With your support, over the coming years, plans will continue to further develop the planting along the Streamside, upgrade the pathways, and install new information to help visitors learn more about the area. There will also be continued work using sustainable techniques to manage water in the garden and reduce flooding and the damage it causes to the beloved Streamside.

“The Streamside is a central feature at the garden and we are so excited to be continuing the transformation of this beautiful space. I hope that these changes will keep RHS Harlow Carr exciting, providing fresh interest and inspiration for our visitors.”
