Horticulture faces a critical skills shortage. Yet for many people, especially those from backgrounds that haven’t always had access to green careers, training pathways remain out of reach.

New, inclusive spaces are being created at RHS Gardens Harlow Carr, Hyde Hall and Rosemoor – designed to inspire people from all backgrounds to learn greener skills and explore careers in horticulture.

With your help, these Greener Skills Gardens will grow into thriving learning hubs – helping close the green skills gap and giving more people the opportunity to grow, connect and flourish.

Each year, RHS Gardens host free, hands-on workshops for over 40,000 school children – helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of the natural world.
