Website accessibility

The RHS is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users including those with disabilities

The first phase of work has been to ensure that new and current pages on the website conform to the main Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Priority 1 Accessibility checks. In many cases we have been able to update many of our older pages so that they also conform; however, archived material and microsites, such as articles from past editions of The Garden and coverage of previous years' flower shows, have been left in their original format.

We view this work as an ongoing process and we will review the website regularly in order to ensure that pages are, wherever possible, meeting the requirements of our users. In the longer term, our aim is that future redesign work improves the accessibility of the website still further.
