Who can use the library?
Everyone is welcome to visit the RHS Libraries to enjoy our collections at our libraries in London, Harlow Carr and Wisley. RHS Members can borrow from our lending collections and access our growing collection of ebooks and e-audio books. Researchers and members of the public may make an appointment to view our more specialist materials.
How do I apply for an account to use the library?
To join the library you will need to complete our online registration form. Your library membership is valid for the same period as your RHS membership.
How many books can I borrow?
As an RHS member you may borrow five items at a time for a period of 1 month and can renew your loans providing no one else has requested the book.
I do not live near an RHS Library can I still borrow books from the libraries?
Yes, members may use postal loan service. We also offer an ebooks/audio books lending service which provides access to popular and in-demand gardening titles, powered by Overdrive and the Libby App.
