Some resources to help researchers find what they need

Our collections are enormous, spread across several sites and sometimes not completely catalogued. We are working hard to add more details to our catalogue to improve the accessibility of our collections and it is always a good idea to start with the catalogue.

To help you find what you need we have also created some resource guides and our Lindley Library Occasional Paper series, which contains articles highlighting research using our collections.

Please contact us if you need any further help.

The RHS awards bursaries to help people progress in their horticultural careers. Further details are available on the RHS bursaries page.

The library holds reports from previous trips, and they can be requested by emailing an RHS Libraries Bursary Report scan request form (112kB pdf) to the Wisley library at [email protected].

Reports submitted from 2010 onwards are held electronically and can be emailed out immediately. Older reports can be scanned by request and supplied within a month.

Contact the library at [email protected] if you are interested in reading one of the award-winning bursaries or to discover what topics have been explored by previous recipients.
