About the garden

Owned by
Paul & Pauline McBride

Surrounded by mature oak trees, the eight-acre garden consists of a series of arc-shaped borders planted in the naturalistic style. Small paths within the borders encourage exploration through swathes of Miscanthus, Veronicastrum and Echinacea. Large numbers of plants in impressive drifts are one of the unique features of this garden, as well as the huge variety of unusual grasses and rare perennials.

Plants of special interest

  • Asters
  • Cut flowers
  • Grasses
  • Hemerocallis
