Attention! Boot camp comes to Harlow Carr
Visitors on the first day of the show will be greeted by soldiers from the 6 Regiment of the Royal Logistic Corps, Dishforth, who have been working with the RHS to run a 'boot camp' for more than 600 local school pupils.
Hundreds of decommissioned army boots have been planted up and decorated by pupils to help brighten up community spaces - see them on display at the show, along with a series of portable pallet gardens created by military wives.
Tempting treats from Bettys
There'll be plenty of opportunities to recharge the batteries with a cup of tea and delicious cake at Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms or Bettys Tea House in the heart of the garden.
Let us entertain you
Sit back and enjoy live big band music throughout the show.
