Looking for a fantastic way to keep the kids entertained this half-term? Join us for a week of pumpkin inspired activities, creativity and adventure in the gardens!

Daily, 25 October – 2 November. Autumn Displays & Colour – Through the Garden 
9.30am  6pm
Discover creative Autumnal displays dotted around the garden. Including a Pumpkin Harvest Banquet table, Giant Pumpkin Letters and Scarecrows showcasing the different vegetables used in the past for carving.

Monday 27 – Friday 31 October. *Zoolab Creepy Critters – Learning Centre 
10am – 3pm sessions at 11am, 12noon 1.15pm and 2.15pm - *£2.50 charge per seat. (approx 45 mins)
Come and get up close and hands-on with some cool creepy critters as we explore how they interact with our precious pumpkins! Meet the likes of Snakes, Spiders and Snails in this fun adventure around this Halloween vegetable!

Monday 27 and Friday 31 October. Creative Family Workshops – Learning centre 
11.30am 12.30pm and 1.30pm  3.30pm
Come and join us for some pumpkin inspired creativity. Recommended for ages 4+. Sessions are drop in.

Tuesday 28 October. Professional Pumpkin Carving Demonstration – Outside the Learning centre 
10.30am  3.30pm
Join us and watch some expert carvers and craftmanship at work. What will be revealed in our RHS Harlow Carr Pumpkin? Find inspiration for your own carving at home.

Tuesday 28 and Thursday 30 October. Garden Detectives – Learning centre 
11am, 12.30pm, 2pm
The Garden Detectives have turned into historians this half term, join them on a quest to discover the curious history of pumpkins.

Wednesday 29 October. Yoga and Storytelling – Learning centre 
11am, 12.30pm, 2pm
Wellbeing Wednesday with Susie. Join us at a cosy storytelling and Yoga session, as we explore the life cycle and properties of being a pumpkin. 

There is always lots to see do at RHS Garden Harlow Carr from our brilliant play areas and the natural beauty of this fantastic garden. The autumn colours are so inspiring and if you are looking for something to entertain the kids we have autumn themed activities and workshops taking place throughout the half term break.
