In 2022, we'll be celebrating at RHS Garden Harlow Carr as Her Majesty The Queen becomes the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee – 70 years of service – having acceded to the throne on 6 February 1952 at the age of 25.

Her Majesty The Queen is the Society's longest-serving patron. This year we would like to say ‘Thank you, your Majesty’ for 70 years of royal support for horticulture. 

To celebrate, we have curated some exhibition boards showcasing some of the special moments at our events and gardens where we have had the honour of The Queen's presence and support. You will find these around the Learning Centre in the garden.

Live music will be playing in the garden between 1pm and 4pm. The bands joining us on the following days are:
  • Thursday 2 June: Take 2 Big Band
  • Friday 3 June: New Horizons Dance Band
  • Saturday 4 June: Barnsley Brass
  • Sunday 5 June: Chris Irvin Concert Orchestra
