Another chance for an introduction to eco/botanical printing using leaves and flowers. You will be guided through the process of nature-based printing by demonstrating the mordanting and steaming involved. The process is unpredictable and results in a subtle colour palette suggestive of alchemy and traditional fabric staining.

Tutor: CarolAnn Allan

Additional info

Clothing is at risk of staining so please dress appropriately, please provide an apron, rubber gloves and a bag to take home wet samples and fabric.
